"Together" & "Any Questions"

It's been a joy to see how our new "Together" services at 11am have been working. Interactive, fun, reflective and with spiritual nuggets aplenty, it's been hard work, but worth it. Jenny and Lorraine in particular have been stars.

Next Sunday sees the start of a new series on "Saints". It's shaping up well. After the technical disasters of yesterday (Powerpoint failure and the painfully slo-mo version of Little Richard's "Tutti Frutti"), I'm praying that all will go well next Sunday.

Last night's "Any Questions" on the Church went well too. The panel answered well and we didn't get too many curved balls. I realise that not everyone will be happy with everything that is said, especially if they don't agree with our answers, but I hope we did share some helpful insights.

Building Trials

The trials of building have begun. Tomorrow our gas supply has to be turned off to allow for the continuation of foundation work. That would be fine if we could have the meter moved to a new position, but unfortunately the two companies involved can't get their act together, so it appears that we'll be without heat or cooking facilities for up to a month. But, never fear, we are working on options............
