Laura, Bill and Heather Cox were at the Church of the Apostles this morning, and they invited me to see the show tonight that Laura has been directing in downtown Nashville, The Gifts of the Magi by O. Henry. Bill and Laura are Melia's mum and dad, who is part of our family at St Silas'. It was a lovely show - some great singing of difficult pieces, and a good parable for Christmas.
I retumed to spend a pleasant few hours with Chris (Lindy's uncle), Kay and Nuala, who were all here for the wedding.
I leave the hotel at 8.30 am, to see www.lifeway.com in Nashville. I fly out of Nashville at 1338 and arrive back in Glasgow on Tuesday at 12.30-ish.
Glad to hear that you're having fun out there, and keeping the profile up gadgetvicar. Over here it's baltic freezing chilly-cold (although worse yesterday than today)
I've discovered what your Christmas present should be: one of these!
