"At our main services at St Silas', I can't remember ever coming into begin the service and meeting total silence. People greet one another and chat, and in one sense, that is what the people of God should enjoy doing, as they prepare to meet God in public worship.

I've articulated this a few times: maybe one day we will have such a sense of God's awesomeness, that we'll arrive for a service and find everyone has just shut up in order to focus on Him!"

Amen. May it occur here as well.
