Hmm. Interesting analysis, but I can't help wondering if American culture created and shaped televangelism rather than the other way round. Internalism and reality TV confessions aren't really very Christian.
I remember seeing you and Jim Bakker at the Crucible (At Work Together). I was very sceptical at first, but actually warmed to JB as he spoke - until we got to his wobbly eschatology at the end. Can't help wondering, 'where-is-he-now?'
