We've had a death in the family.
Ruby, the matriarch of our hamster clan, was put to sleep this morning, following serious breathing problems. She'd received antibiotics from the vet earlier this week, but to no avail. We're all very sad that she didn't get better.
She led a very active life, mainly consisting of frantically running around our hall in her little ball. But she did not limit herself to this discipline. She also had a keen interest in gnawing things and having babies. She leaves four children (Patches, Snowy, Martin and Sultana).
Her funeral service was held in our garden this afternoon.
My sincere condolences to you and your family at this time. May the peace and love of the Lord be with you all.
Blessings,
Mission Warrior
