Paul Robertson

I like the hospital/church analogy. At the risk of stretching the analogy to far I'll take it a little further.

Most people who come in to hospital come to be made better, so that they can be discharged to live their lives better and more fully than before. You don't get better and want to stay in hospital.

In the same way I like the idea of being part of an Acts 1 church - that heals and nurtures and disciples - and allows us to leave church being Acts 2 people. Being spirit filled, all-singing, all dancing, and dynamic in church is great, but its what we do when we are "discharged" that matters more.
