Mr Morgan is reported as saying:

"That devalues scripture by restricting its moral values simply to what it might be saying about sexual relationships and turns the Bible into a kind of rule book where texts can be wrestled out of context"

Whilst I am not as learned as Mr Morgan, I cannot see how there is any possible equivocation over how the Lord views homosexual practices as it is quite clearly set out in the books of Genesis, Leviticus and Romans. If anybody is in the business of using scripture in a "wrestled out of context" kind of way, to borrow Mr Morgan's phrase, I would venture that it is in fact those that try to justify such practices.

In this instance the words of the Apostle John seem to me to be quite apt when he spoke of those who may come to us who do not have the doctrine of Christ :

"Receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: for he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds"
-(2John 10-11)
