The talented songwriters at St Silas' won't blow their own vuvuzelas, so I'll have to.
The excellent and newly wed (to the lovely Julie) Ginger Prince, Paul Robertson, has written the title track on this new worship album by Satellite. We've used the song at St Silas', and it's a good 'un. Check out his early demo version here.
And our wonderful worship pastor, Jenny Cheung, has just had a song published on this recording (My heart belongs to you). Check it out.
What amazing giftedness I'm surrounded by.
Don't suppose any of those songs are on Spotify or YouTube? Like P and J, curious to hear tracks, but don't want to start sullying my lovely iTunes with evangementalist Christian Rock! ;-) Although I've still got the Labyrinth tracks and a sermon on it :).

Although the 'Ginger Prince' was, is now, and shall be forever the nickname of the Greatest British Midfielder of His Generation, Paul Scholes! One wouldn't want Dr.Robertson's forays into musical stardom to be sullied by a lawsuit from Salford's finest! ;)

Ryan, it's more like evangamentalist (what does that even mean?!) Christian folk. If your iPod can't take that either, then you'll be able to hear the track at the myspace site soon. http://www.myspace.com/satelliteworshipuk

Cool, shall do so! I should stress that I did intend to iTunes the track but, after starring at the page for ages, I couldn't go through with it. Folkwise, think the only tracks I have are Neil Young and to my taste the likes of 'Harvest' 'Heart of Gold' etc are some of his weakest songs. A Man Needs a Maid is pretty good tho, despite the overblown orchestra and the allegedly un-feminist friendly lyrics.
I'm worried about the slippery slope to Kendrick/Wesley Owen 'music'! ;)
Evangementalist combination of evangelical and (funda)mentalist. Thought of a song title myself - Evangementalist Blues. See my facebook for more! ;)
